Firefox 3.5 Released! How To Upgrade My Firefox

Firefox 3.5 is the latest version of Mozilla Firefox which released on June 30th 2009 PDT. If you do not know how to upgrade Firefox to higher version, let me explain the simple step to upgrade it. Right now, when this post published to internet, highest version of Firefox is 3.5. Some of you perhaps do not know how to know what version of your browser now. To check your Firefox version you can click Help on your browser then click About Mozilla Firefox and check the version.

Step to Upgrade Firefox

There are two ways to upgrade Firefox, manually and automatically, and both of them easy to follow and you can choose one. Below the simple method to upgrade Firefox:

To upgrade Firefox automatically open your Firefox, then click Help, then click Check for Updates. Follow the wizard.

To upgrade Firefox manually, open Firefox and then go to this website: http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ then click Free Download and then follow the wizard.

    Saya sudah mencobanya. Tetapi walaupun rilis kali ini adalah final, saya masih menemukan adanya bug. Sepertinya Mozilla terlalu terburu-buru merilisnya tanpa uji coba yang lebih lanjut.

    untuk update Firefox versi GNU/Linux, tidak bisa menggunakan metode di atas.
    Kecuali download manual dulu, baru install secara normal (yang tidak bisa klik next-next-finish).
    Atau cara yang termudah, nunggu versi terbaru tersebut dirilis oleh pengelola distro yang bersangkutan. Klo di ubuntu tinggal sudo apt-get update dan sudo apt-get upgrade.
